Much like how my family celebrates Thanksgiving and Easter, the table decor for Christmas is just as simple.
December 25th without a doubt hosts my favourite meal of the season and the year for that matter. As much as I love Thanksgiving and Easter, there’s just something extra special about Christmas Day.
Whether my family is celebrating Christmas with brunch or dinner (usually both) I’ll start setting the table with a white tablecloth as a basis for my great-nona’s china, crystal glasses, and silverware. Then I’ll add white napkins, white (unscented) candles, and winter greenery in small bud vases.
With the food being the star of the show, a simple table is more than enough.
Whenever I helped my mom and grandma set the table, when I was little, I was reminded that less is more. They would tell me that the table decor shouldn’t take away from the meal itself or any of the surrounding Christmas decorations, such as the tree, for that matter.
On that note, below I am sharing a handful of my favourite simple Christmas table looks straight from my Pinterest boards.
